My name is Vienna, aka JazzieGirl. I am the Jazz Music Director @ FM88.5-KSBR, a Contemporary Jazz station at Saddleback College in Mission Viejo, California. I help bring the music of talented musicians to listeners all over the world. I am particularly proud that I can help deserving indie artists to get airplay, whose music would not otherwise be heard on commercial stations.
An engineer by trade, I had a great run for the money, but my life-long passion for music led me to my current career in the music industry. As a teenager, I used to save up all my allowance for concert tickets and music albums. I have been regularly going to clubs to see and support live music for over thirty years. As a result I have made life-long friendship with many musicians.
I started my own business JazzieGirl Productions a few years ago. I represent over a hundred artists/groups in all genres of music. I book artists into various clubs, venues, festivals, and private events. I work closely with Spaghettini Grill & Jazz Club in Seal Beach, a premiere jazz club in Southern California, to bring a diverse array of entertainment to the venue.
